Estimate your mixing budget

Every mix is bespoke, but you can set a realistic frame upfront. This guide helps artists who recorded at our studio — or elsewhere — and want a balanced, release-ready mix.

What drives the price

Complexity comes from track count, editing, tuning, effects and how clear your references are. A singer-songwriter with guitar and two vocals finishes faster than a twenty-stem drum multitrack with stacks of synths. Sessions from our live room (about 30 m²) may include room tone we keep or tighten deliberately.

Tell us via contact how many songs, which genre and your deadlines. We can quote per track or hourly instead of guessing. Since 2019 we have worked from 3 rooms in Oud-West, which helps consistent monitoring from tracking through mixing.

Published rates

For Mixing we offer:

OptionPrice incl. VAT
Per mixed track€225
Per hour (stems or live set)€78
EP package up to five tracks€890

The per-track rate covers a typical pop/rock/electronic mix with 2 revision rounds (see terms and conditions). Heavy editing, tuning or vocal repair may add hours at €78 — we flag that before continuing.

Per track vs hourly

Per track suits clean stems and a fixed arrangement. Hourly fits live multitracks that need sorting first, or projects whose scope grows while we work.

The EP package pays off when three to five songs should share one sonic direction: one reference, one folder structure, less file ping-pong. Extra songs fall under €225 or the hourly rate. Bonus tracks or interludes count toward the total unless we agree otherwise upfront.

Delivering stems

Send WAV 24-bit, preferably 48 kHz, with clear names (Kick_In.wav, Vox_Lead_01.wav). Export from zero (pre-fader) unless we agree otherwise. Include a rough mix, tempo and key.

Use WeTransfer, Dropbox or USB via contact. We store project files for 24 months. Missing stems burn mix time — see prepare your vocal session if vocals still need recording.

Revisions and scope

Each mix includes 2 revision rounds: you collect notes, we adjust balance, EQ, compression and effects. Further rounds are billed at €78. Major changes (new stems, new arrangement) count as scope expansion, not a small tweak.

Send bundled feedback by email with timestamps or bar numbers. Split comments across chat apps and mail slow the process and create conflicting requests. If you are unsure whether a note is mix or master territory, ask before we print a final pass — that saves a round trip.

Mix then master

After mixing, budget for mastering: €68 per track or EP/album packages. Mastering does not fix an unfinished mix. Read mastering file formats before you export.

Need only a technical sanity check? Say so — sometimes an hour at €78 is enough for you to continue on your own.
