Why we run this studio

Gregorxyra started when makers in Amsterdam wanted a space that does not feel oversized yet sounds serious. We want you to know who is at the desk, what a session costs and which files you take home — before you walk in.

We work with independent artists, podcast teams, labels and agencies. No forced sonic signature: we align with your references and timeline.

The rooms

Live room (30 m²)

For duos up to five musicians together, or track-by-track with sight lines to the control room. Floor and panels are tuned for drums and amps without sounding dead.

Vocal booth (11 m²)

Isolated booth for vocals, voice-over and narration, with direct view from the desk.

Control room (20 m²)

Treated listening position, main monitors and a secondary pair for small-speaker checks.

Gear in brief

We keep 18 microphones and DIs for vocals, guitars, drums and podcast tables. Conversion and monitoring are set up for stable levels; we pick models per session so the chain fits your voice or instrument.

For band recording you can bring your own amps; a basic drum kit and keyboard are available when booked in advance.

Team and accountability

Saskia de Vries leads Gregorxyra B.V. and coordinates recording sessions. Together with Lars Meijer (mix and master) and Noor Bakker (podcast and scheduling) we guide you from quote to delivery.

Address and access

Bilderdijkstraat 78, 1053 KM Amsterdam (Oud-West). The studio is on Bilderdijkstraat in Oud-West, about a ten-minute walk from Leidseplein. Trams 1 and 7 serve the Bilderdijkstraat stop, roughly three minutes on foot from there. The entrance is at street level, which makes bringing cases or instruments straightforward.
