Accessibility statement

Last updated : 1 October 2026

This English text is for convenience. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring

Summary

  • This statement covers gregorxyra.click and a visit to the studio in Oud-West.
  • We aim the site at WCAG 2.2 Level AA; we have not commissioned a third-party audit.
  • The entrance on Bilderdijkstraat 78 is at pavement level, which helps with cases or instruments.
  • If you hit a barrier, email [email protected] with the page, the problem and which assistive technology you used.

1. About this statement

This text belongs to the website gregorxyra.click of Gregorxyra B.V., Bilderdijkstraat 78, 1053 KM Amsterdam. It describes what we do to make the site and a visit to the recording studio usable for people with a disability, and where the limits are. Effective 1 October 2026, last reviewed 1 October 2026. The Dutch version is authoritative; this English page is for information.

The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), implemented in the Netherlands as the Act on the accessibility of products and services, applies from 28 June 2025 to certain services, including some e-commerce. Small service providers may fall outside that duty. Gregorxyra is a compact studio (3 rooms, a team of three). We publish this statement on our own initiative and we do not claim a formal conformity assessment under that Act.

2. What we aim for

Gregorxyra B.V. wants visitors to be able to understand the services, ask a question and plan a session — whether you use a screen reader, a keyboard or enlarged text. We take Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the target, together with the matching success criteria that also appear in EN 301 549.

From the way the site is built (semantic HTML, a single main landmark, visible labels on the form, no embedded frames) you should be able to:

  • enlarge text to about 300 percent without columns falling off the page;
  • follow the main structure with the keyboard (menu, content, form, footer);
  • hear headings, lists and tables in a logical order with a screen reader;
  • reduce motion if your operating system has reduced-motion turned on.

Those points are a design target, not a badge. We have not hired an external auditor and we issue no certificate.

3. Conformance status

The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. «Partially» stays in place until we have finished a full, documented review of every page in Dutch and in English. We do not rely on a national framework other than WCAG / EN 301 549.

The check so far is a self-assessment: a sample of unique templates (home, services, legal pages, the form) with keyboard, zoom and the browser's built-in accessibility inspector. No automated scanner replaces a human pass. Date of this self-assessment: 1 October 2026.

4. Known limits

Limits remain. Only what we know sits here; we do not fill the list with someone else's defects.

Generated atmosphere images
Photographs on the site are illustrative and made with AI. They have a short alternative text that describes the scene, but they do not add factual information beyond the text beside them. Success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is met for the role «atmosphere», not as an informative chart. We do not add fake data visualisations.
No video, no PDF forms
There is no embedded film, so criterion 1.2.2 (captions) does not arise. We do not offer downloadable PDF forms; booking goes through the contact form or 020 261 4873.
Map as an external link
Location opens as a link to OpenStreetMap, not as an embedded map. A map iframe would add extra controls; the route in words is on contact.
Two languages
Each page has a language switch. Legal texts in English are a translation; if wording differs, Dutch prevails, as also noted in the legal notice.

If you find something missing here, we add it. We fix reported barriers in order of impact.

5. The studio in Amsterdam

Digital access is not the whole visit. The studio is on Bilderdijkstraat in Oud-West, about a ten-minute walk from Leidseplein. Trams 1 and 7 serve the Bilderdijkstraat stop, roughly three minutes on foot from there. The entrance is at street level, which makes bringing cases or instruments straightforward.

In practice: the front door sits at street level, with no step up to the entrance. Inside there are 3 treated rooms. The live room is 30 m², the vocal booth 11 m², the control room 20 m². At most 8 guests per session. The booth is a small, isolated space; tell us beforehand if you need a larger setup or extra breaks. We do not need a lift to another floor for the session rooms we hire out.

Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00, by appointment; closed Sunday. Plan a visit through contact or [email protected] so we can leave time for unloading, an extra chair or a quieter schedule. Services such as Voice and voice-over recording (from €88 per hour incl. VAT) and Live and band recording (from €98 per hour incl. VAT) are compared on services. About the people: about us.

6. Feedback and next steps

If you hit a barrier on the site or during a visit, write to [email protected] or use the form. Mention three things so we can look faster:

  • which page or which room it happened in;
  • what went wrong;
  • which browser, device or assistive technology you used.

We acknowledge studio messages within 2 working days. An accessibility request we handle on the substance as soon as the check allows, and in any event within the same one-month window as other rights requests in the privacy policy.

If talking to us does not resolve the point and it concerns equal treatment on the ground of disability, you may contact the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights. That body is not a WCAG certification office and not a disputes board for studio bookings; booking disputes sit in the terms and conditions and the FAQ.
